Scope

What we review and seal

Structural documents across the full project lifecycle — from design through fabrication.

Wind load calculations

ASCE 7-22 wind load reports — including those produced in our calculator — reviewed and sealed for permit submission.

Calculation reports

Structural calculation packages independently reviewed for method, assumptions, and code compliance, then sealed.

Structural designs

Design drawings and documents reviewed against the governing building code and sealed for submission.

Shop drawings

Fabrication and erection drawings reviewed for conformance with the design intent, then stamped.

Out-of-state sealing for firms

Extend your firm’s reach — we review and seal under the appropriate state licence so you can take the project.

Peer review

Independent third-party review of another engineer’s design or analysis, with written findings.

How it works

Three steps

STEP 01

Send the documents

Email the drawings or calculations with the project state and your deadline. You get a fixed quote and turnaround before any work starts.

STEP 02

Engineering review

The submittal is reviewed against the governing code and edition for that jurisdiction. Anything unclear comes back to you as questions, not assumptions.

STEP 03

Sealed and returned

You receive the sealed and signed documents as a PDF, ready for permit submission, along with any review comments.

Scope note. Professional engineering services are provided under a separate written agreement with defined scope and fee, and are distinct from any software subscription. The Wind Load Calculator is a calculation aid; using it does not engage AW Structural Services, LLC as engineer of record. Engagements are accepted only where the firm and engineer hold current licensure and any required certificate of authorization.
